Frost Bank - Discrimination at your service!
On approximately 7/25 I applied online for, and was approved for, an account with Frost Bank. A couple days later, I wired in some money, got my debit card, and began using the account and switching everything over to my new Frost account.
I have never once done anything shady or commited any kind of bank/credit fraud.
Everything Ive done with the Frost account (paid utilities bills, shopping at HEB, purchased stuff from Amazon/NewEgg, etc) is normal/typical stuff.
Yet about 10 days later, they call me to tell me that they are closing my account and I have a week. It turns out that because I was charged with a felony four years ago for simply putting up a webpage for one of my clients, that they (Frost) decided they didnt want to do business with me anymore.
So, even though I "paid my debt to society", they now want to discriminate against me 2 weeks after the fact.
On the home page of their website they state, that they are:
"A force for good in your community."
and that they
"We belive in doing what's right."
What a crock! It's all BS. They are obviously no different from any of the giant corporate banks.
Who knows what they'll descriminate againt next.
Maybe they will pick and choose by the color of one's skin? Education level? Political or religious preference?
Points on driver's license? If you dont fit their ideal....you're gone!
Dont waste your time with these elitists.

Banks are now controlling who can have access the most important essentials and necessities in life by controlling your credit and credit scores. It should be like that
We understand your "feelings" were hurt but Frost Bank has it's own standards, and apparently, you failed to meet at least one of those by being charged with a felony. It's their bank and their rules. Stop the whining and find another bank with lesser standards.
Have you ever won any money gambling? Please give alot of details. Thank You.
Are you a professional troll, or just one in training? I cant really tell.
Yea weโll your obviously ignorant. He made a mistake and he paid the price.
the bank should not discriminate based on a four year old charge. Or at all it is a government business not a option based one.
